I wrote these as a result of joining [livejournal.com profile] dw100 on a whim about two weeks, maybe? The first one is my favorite and the others are just, not as good as I would've liked. Besides being my worst critic when it comes to, well, anything lately. I decided to share them against my better judgment. :P They are unbeta'd! So, um, sorry! Lol.

The Implications of Shoes

It’s one of those little things about the Doctor that makes Donna smile – his shoes. He wouldn’t be the same without his blue pinstripe suit and mismatched red converse sneakers. “Don’t you have any other shoes in your wardrobe?” she asked him one day.

His reply had been simplistic but logical, as always, “Good for running!”

“Of course they are,” she said with a roll of her eyes. “Hinting that I need exercise?”

“What?” He blinked.

“Always on about running, you little skinny man!”

The Doctor stared at Donna, confused. In his nine-hundred plus years, he still never understood women.

The Doctor & (Mrs.) Noble

The day had begun so normally… well, as normal as any day could be traveling with a bona fide Time Lord.

Donna had her feet propped up on the console, lounging, and had a notepad and pen in hand. “You need new furniture,” she said ephemerally as she jotted down some notes.

“What are you writing?” the Doctor inquired, attempting to peek over her shoulder.

“Bugger off,” she hissed, gripping the notebook.

“Aw, c’mon!” The glee resonating from him was infectious.

Donna caved, “If you must know, I’m keeping track of all our ‘marriages’.”

Their laughter echoed throughout the TARDIS.

Little Blue Book

He knew he shouldn’t be looking at it, but surely one glance shouldn’t hurt. The Doctor turned the little blue book over in his hands. It really couldn’t be such a bad thing to just peek, could it?

“Doctor,” shouted Donna from the top of the staircase.

He glanced back over his shoulder and smiled gleefully. “Coming!” he replied before looking down at the book in his hands. It was nothing more than paper bounded together and written words in ink. How could such an innocent looking object be so…

Donna tapped the Doctor on the shoulder. “Spoilers, you prat!”

Perfect! Absolutely perfectly in character. :) I LOLed at the first one, but the 2nd was cute and the 3rd a bit thoughtful. I just really love how well you have Donna's voice!

Totally adorable! I love the second one the most.

“If you must know, I’m keeping track of all our ‘marriages’.”

Hee! *loves*

You should definitely write more for these two! ;)
