Guinevere

She loathes being called Guinevere but when he breathes her name from his lips it causes the butterflies to flutter deep within her. His voice brightens her face, bringing a warm smile, and sends her heart into more rapid rhythms. She does not fully comprehend the effect he has on her. He seems to have a rather charismatic magnetism that makes her weak in the knees. It is in these moments that she realises he is the only one who will ever take her breath away and maybe it is acceptable that he call her by her given birth name.

nice. i've started watching merlin, seeing as how a number of people on my flist have said something or another about it, and OMG it's eating my brain. it was a little slow at first, but i guess that's only natural, we need that exposition, especially given how they've tweaked the original legends, but then it really picked up and i have just the last episode left, and...yay!

but back to the point. i'm not sure she really dislikes being called guinevere that much, but it's fairly obvious she prefers gwen; however, given the way that arthur says guinevere, can't blame her for liking it ;o) but yes, you do get the feeling that she doesn't mind when arthur uses her full name :o)

thanks for sharing! have a good night!

Aw, this is lovely. And he really does say her name far too well - I'm beginning to suspect he practises when alone!

*squees & flails* that was lovely. Thank you. And yes, there is something about the way Arthur calls her Guinevere. As if he's the only one allowed to call her that. Heeeeeeee haha pardon me, I get so giddy each time I hear Arthur say GuineVERE.
