For the Gwen Battle 2009 over at
thefuturequeen; prompt was 'Gwen/Morgana, first meeting'.
Title: Kinship
Rating: G
Characters: Gwen and Morgana
Summary: Their first meeting had been filled with laughter, secrets, and a strong kinship.
Word Count: 100
Disclaimer: Just playing around in Camelot with my favorite knights and wizards, no copyright infringement intended.
Kinship
In a kingdom full of extravagant architecture, thriving flora and fauna, and a grandeur that separates Camelot from the rest of the land; Gwen had never envisioned she would be a part of it. Her life had changed considerably when she met the King’s charge, Morgana, one midsummer’s day. There might have been a wall between royalty and peasant but she had never entertained such barriers. Morgana had treated her with respect, appreciation, and equality. Their first meeting had been filled with laughter, secrets, and a strong kinship; just as the years that followed, strengthening and intensifying through common affinity.
