This story was very sweet. The little touches that you added to the Lee/Kara/Kacey interactions were well done.
The only thing I would recommend is that you go back and work in a line where Kara dismisses her Nugget Class; having Lee come in and give Kacey a shoulder-ride is all well and good, but he would never do that in front of a room full of Viper trainees, nor would Kara allow it to happen in front of her students. With that minor detail addressed, this is a nearly perfect fic!
