(Five times Lee almost punches Kara)

Once during a game of triad, Kara gets a little too cocky with the CAG – he doesn't take kindly to her attitude and when she spits ambrosia at him and it stains the front of his shirt, he stands up, the chair crashing to the floor behind him. He raises his hand with every intention of striking the hotshot pilot but a few nuggets quickly step in and hold him back.

She disobeys his orders again, and gives him a hundred and one reasons why, but all he wants to do is punch her for not listening again.

When he watches her with him - laughing, and joking around as they used to; he can’t help but feel the rage creep up. When she asks him to join them with that sinister laugh of hers, he can’t help but get the urge to strike her for breaking his heart… again.

She tells him of her intentions to move down to New Caprica with Anders and he feels a pang in his chest as he looks at her. He wants to ask her to stay and when he does; she takes it a little too personally – that’s when the arguing begins and he almost punches her but instead he walks away with the intention never to speak to her again.

It has been over a year since they last spoke and when she contacts him out of the blue – it’s about Anders and he wishes that she came in person so he could give her one mean left-hook for even thinking he’d want to help.

That last one is really quite powerful. I guess we'll see very soon just how much Lee hates Kara. Great job! I think you muse is back!

Yes, my muse is making appearances which makes me happy. :) Glad that you liked them, it was tough! I really don't like writing the anger and stuff between them, especially in the 4th and 5th ones, 'cause it's like.. almost permanant or something. :( I want my K/L to be happy!

Wow, those were great! I'd almost forgotten I'd asked you do them. :D My mind is spread way too thinly these days.

The first two were very typical - but once we got to the third one you started breaking hearts there. How icnredibly true they are. You were thinking of the bunkroom scene in LDYB2 weren't you? I can just imagine that's what Lee was thinking at that time.

The fourth one is a very plausible reason for why they aren't speaking to one another (or rather why he's still angry with her) a year later. As for the last one ... definitly possible that's what he was thinking.

I have a feeling 'Lee angry at Kara' is what we're going to see for a good chunk of season 3. And if the spoilers for episode 8 are true, we may even SEE some punching.

Thanks so much for doing these - they were great, in a heartbreaking sort of way. I'll have to ask for happier ones next time. :)

I can see him being angry with her, enough to not talk to her for the simple reason of her leaving for New Caprica, I can also see him with the intention of not speaking to her but somehow knowing he's just angry but it gets out of hand and they don't talk or something. I could analyze Kara and Lee all day, LOL.

At least they're little short angst snippets - can you imagine writing 20 some chapters of angst? Yikes!

Well in a way I wonder if it wont live up to all the hype. With all the scenarios floating around in everyone's heads, could RDM really come up with something no one has thought of. Katee said it was nothing like she expected... And unfortunately we are going to have to wait for another 10 weeks to find out!

Yeah, and in 10 weeks my baby is due. With MY luck I'll be at the hospital the weekend the one episode I'm dying to see airs. (I'll just make Michael put it on the iPod and bring it to me then - one way to pass the time during labour - lol) :)

It sure does. Every time I see a fic where they're mad at each other or pushing each other's buttons, I get more curious as to what breaks them apart at the end of S2 and then I get more excited about S3 starting IN TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
