Five times Kara and Helo almost have sex

After several shots of ambrosia, both are embraced in each other’s arms; kissing fiercely and their hands exploring one another but before long, she is laughing and he is grinning – neither one able to go any further.

When she returns from finishing her CAP, he greets her with a grin, sucking on his green apple lollipop. She rolls her eyes and grabs his arm, dragging him out of the Hanger Deck and into an unoccupied storage locker. She teases him about the lollipop as she pushes him up against one of the shelves and shoves her hand underneath his tanks and just as she’s about to ravage this man – she hears her name being called over the inner com and she curses.

During a one-on-one game of triad – he kicked her ass and she kicked over the table bitterly before grabbing him and pushing him up against the wall. She kissed him hard, pressing her body against his; almost giving into certain needs before the CAG walked in.

Curling up beside him in the bunk, unable to sleep – the familiar scent rattles her to the core as she had forgotten what it was like to have her best friend home again. She moves in closer, her lips brushing against his and her hips pressing against him; he stops her, his eyes convey that his heart belongs to another as does hers.

Both look at each other – knowing their relationship has always been friendship with benefits but times have changed and neither one is able to betray their love for their significant others.

I love these. I'm starting to 'ship Kara/Helo almost as much as Kara/Lee *ducks to avoid the gunfire*.

I love the 4th one - I can really see it happening - you can tell they were very close before the end of the worlds.

The last one is so sad ... the feelings are there but they just can't act on them.

Finally getting around to my BSG hiatus fic reading.

I just love these vingettes. I am an avowed Helo/Starbuck FWB shipper, and these are just great. My favorite is certainly the one in the bunk, after his return to Galactica. I like to think that after he stop her, she cuddles back up against him and they hold each other tight.

I'll be reading more of your work soon.
